Good morning Jiri.

Well, I am not Trent Smile, but there is a way you can accomplish that. I will point you to his own answer to your need:

Hi Trent,

thank You for Your information. I use translation tool in several projects and it works fine. However - in the project I mentioned I need to allow to manage my colleague our primary language (Czech). The situation is the following:

- we have multiple customers for one application.

- Most of the are satisfied with texts supplied by default but some of them (especially government...) must have different texts (labels, headers, texts in reports etc.)

- so we would like to have a possibility to export (backup) our default czech texts, modify these texts for customer 1, 2 , 3 and export those versions too then import default texts and work normally (add new texts etc). Then backup again, import texts for customer1, update newly added texts, backup texts for customer 1 etc.

Is there any possibility how to manage it?

Thank You

Jiri

Hi Jiri,

I am not on my dev computer to give you more details, but yes SF have a tool that will allow you to send the original language to translators which will then use this tool to translate your data and even email you back those translations and they don't need to have access to SF at all.

Read about localization in the SF help file and also look in the forums for more details.

I have an application with localizations implemented. However I need to allow my business partner to prepare different versions of one language for different customers. My business partner is not a programmer. Is there any possibility how he can manage different language versions?

I mention that my business partner has no access to SF database, so he needs some offline tool...

Thank You
