Initially we upgraded to v1.7.0.7, and we had an issue with an infragistics control on 4 of our forms, but when we removed the control and added it back to the form, it caused these 4 forms to have this issue with the maintenancetoolstrip.  We did correct the 4 forms, and then they were fine.  But, after we upgraded to Strataframe v1.7.3.1 all our forms are having an issue with the maintenancetoolstrip showing "UI_" in front of New, Browse, save etc (like UI_New,UI_Save).   We can correct them, check them in , but when you view the forms in Visual Studio they still show on the design as UI_New, UI_Browse, etc, but when we execute the code the forms are fine, except for the 4 mentioned in the previous sentence.

Our development environment also uses: Infragistics v10.2, SQL 2005 & SQL 2008 and VS2008

Then I guess it is a bit hard for me to give you any ohter hints with what we have at the moment. I do believe you are facing this issue, but I am not able to reproduce it on my side with what you have said. I also develop under different Localization files and so far it all works as expected. Have you tried having a look at the Solution Preferences and setting the Localization Preferences for your project?
