I am getting the following error. I believe the SQL references were added with SF? I'm not sure I remember having the same issue with  one touch deployment. I deleted the reference and eveything is ok just thought I would bring it up

Yes...you are fine to remove this is you are not using replication.  The reason it adds this is because of the DBEngine and it's connections to SMO.
