How could I use SF inherited devexpress comboedit control in DevExpress Grid?

I think it would be easier to use DevExpress' LookUpEdit which is a native control.

Why would you want to use a wrapped DevExpress control in the native grid?

It is possible but I would have to play with this a little bit.  They have the ability to embed a control...I also know that these can be extended which would require you to create a new embedable control by inheriting the wrapped combo which would then support the grid.  I cannot tell you how to do this since I have not done this before, but I do know it is possible.

This might be a question better suited for the DevExpress forum.  You would want to ask how to create custom embeddable grid controls.
