Hi,

My past experience with SF support has been nothing less then amazing - very quick, very detailed. So, please excuse this reminder after such a short time. I'm still looking for a response to the post "Problems with grids (standard and DevExpress)" and I just want to be sure you have noticed that it is outstanding. I'm pretty much dead in the water until I can get past this problem.

Cheers, Peter

Peter,

I have added a post to your other question.  We strive to provide good quaility support and that is why this forum exists.  However, though we provide a wrapper for a DevExpress control does not also indicate that we provide technical support for their controls.  If it is something to which we can provide a simple explanation and pertains heavily to our controls and/or framework, then we obviously will help.  However, you question on another post has more to do with where to save a record when a row changes.  I had mentioned that you need to refer to their documentation to see if there is a "BeforeRowChange" or "AfterRowChange" event or something of that nature where you can place your code.

This really has nothing to do with our Business Objects as you would have the same problem trying to execute this type of behavior using any other type of data source and their control.

I cannot provide you with the answer you are looking for without stopping and creating an in depth DevExpress grid sample and try to reproduce your problem...which is not the intent of this forum or our intent of providing the DevExpress wrapper.  I feel that you would make much quicker progress by posting a question on their forum or talking to their technical support as to where would be the best place to add this type of code.
