FYI - in the source code, the file XMLBasics.vb generates 16 of the following warning messages:

Warning   1   'Public Function DecryptFile(FileName As String) As Integer' is obsolete: 'Writes the decrypted file back to the same location on disk... causes major file corruption problems.'   C:\Program Files\MicroFour\StrataFrame Source Code\MicroFour StrataFrame Base\XML\XMLBasics.vb   603   21   MicroFour StrataFrame Base

We are aware of that....we are the ones who added the obselete attributes to the methods.  In the 1.6.1 release you will see far fewer warnings as we have removed most of those references.

Thanks for the clarification. I wasn't sure if perhaps this warning was something that cropped up unexpectedly as a result of SP1. As long as you're aware of it I won't worry about it.

btw - I resolved the problem of the gradient headers not painting by reducing the hardware acceleration in the advanced video settings. Go figure...

Thanks for sharing your resolution.  That is a bit strange but I am glad that you figured out what was going on!
