I thought all was well with the update because yesterday I edited and built the application several times and even had two updates to deploy.  Today, while trying to set a BO on a combobox control (DevEx), I encountered the error below.  My gut tells me that this has something to do with my inability to open the solutions preferences window.  Perhaps a field was not updated in the SF database.  I will reinstall the framework and select the update database option.  I'll report back here shortly.

This explains a lot...including your other problem on your other post.  You did not update your data structures, which have changed.  You need to reload the update and BE SURE to allow the StrataFrame structures to be updated.

Ok.  I ran the installation, again.  Now, I cannot open any form.  None of the DevEx controls can be initialized.  I updated and rebuilt the InheritedUI solution (again).  I then rebuilt my application.  Nothing.  All forms using any DevEx control are bombing.  I will stay at this, but if you have any ideas about how to correct this, I would appreciate it.

Using the tools supplied by DevEx I reconverted my application to the 8.1.6 version of the control suite.  Then, I rebuilt my application.  The forms are coming up, now.  And, the comboboxedit control now responds properly when assigning a BO as a datasource.  Awesome!    Now, back to work.
