It is good and we have used it in the past. It is a good product and the price point isn't bad. For most things it works really well. After looking briefly to some videos it looks like a one of those tools that are a MUST to have.

Well, there are a number of tools that show the execution plan. If you can learn to interpret the execution plan through SSMS you can really get a lot of good information here. But there are a number of tools out there that will give metrics and analytics showing what is broken, but I do not know of one that tells you how to change your query to an explicit value.

Does anybody know of a tool that would help you optimize SQL tables (with proper indexes) for a particular query?
