I've been banging my head against this problem and finally can reproduce it.

I created two forms, one from SF Std Form and one from SF Maintence form and here are the results:

If I put a BO and BBS and a grid or ComboBox on a SF Maintenance Form , and when you run the form and click on next or previous on toolstrip, it does not work.

HOWEVER, if you create a std SF form and place a toolstrip, BO, BBS and grid, you'll see it works.

Please advise!

Thanks!

Pump, pump, pump it up!! BigGrin

Hrm... that's certainly odd.  Let me take a look at that and I'll see what I can figure out.  BTW, the MaintenanceForm is just an SF StandardForm with the MFTS already dropped on it.  There must be something missing from the template that gets set when the MFTS is dropped on the form.

BTW, I usually see "bump," not "pump" on a post because adding another post causes the forum to "bump" the post to the top.  Either will certainly work (in fact posting a joke, or a blank message would also work...) because they just cause the topic's last post time to be updated which forces it to the top of the list.

Hehe, I just kept wondering what "^pump^" meant, and then I realized that you were bumping the post Smile

Good morning Ben;

When I had originally saw the sample "Business Binding Source" and saw it worked with "Next", "Prev", "First", "Last", I thought the toolstrip should work too. So I dropped a toolstrip on the form and worked fine. That was right after the class.

Now recently, I've been using Maintenance form and had to use a grid and noticed that the grid did not work with toolstrip and I asked Trent which he gave an example of ListView to work with BO. I tried the listview but did not give me all the functionality of the grid's behavior. I kept looking at the sample program, and couldn't find any code that forces the grid and toolstrip to communicate with each other.

Then I realize that the sample is on Std form and mine is on Maintenance form. And after trying both, I saw that the maintenance form has some affect on BBS.

I applicate you looking into this!

Thanks!
